It's Time to Choose

You must make a choice. You can either continue to live in your story of struggle, or you can become wealthy, but you cannot do both. If you choose to become wealthy, you will have to forfeit your right to complain about being poor. And you will have to give up being victimized by circumstances.

What does that mean?

You will no longer be able to lay claim to the identity of someone who is "put upon." You will no longer receive any attention from fellow commiserators because of your lack. And you will no longer get credit for your struggle. Are you prepared to give up all that attention? If you are not willing to release your hold on your identity as someone who nobly struggles through the face of all odds and does so much with so little, you will never be wealthy. If you cannot live without the attention or the approval from others for being such a great poor person, for doing so well with insurmountable odds, for surviving in the face of enormous bills and debt, then I'm afraid that you are doomed to remain right there.

Poor people work hard for their money. So do wealthy people - they just don't get credit for it.

People of wealth have released their need to be commended by the masses. They are not lucky; they've just made a choice to accumulate wealth over approval. You too must choose. Do you need to identify yourself as and receive high regard for being a person of struggle or do you want to be rich? Choose well.
